I love this encouraging uplifting and also kind of a cheerful reminder to not adjust our light to suit others! We do not come with dimmers 😉 We shine bright or be out of anyone’s way who can’t stand it. I truly wish to refine this for myself to the fullest.

Sadly, I think we adapt as to not make others feel uncomfortable. Kind intention but it undermines us living authentically and sharing what makes us special. Reminders are particularly helpful❣️

Beautiful and so true. Why do we shrink to make another feel great. I believe in being humble, wise, and choosing my battles and I often stay quiet to maintain my peace and stability. Because it feels foolish to speak to the other at that point in time as their capacity to hear is non existent at that moment. I don’t call that shrinking I call that sensible.
I do my own thing , mind my own business and shine my little light privately but if someone wants to see clearly they can see because when we shine our light privately it is intact publicly, because our character, value, ethics, and morals are part of who we are, every second of our lives. They are whats makes us unique and great. And sometimes unknowingly we are scary to others for upholding our values etc..
