The Class That Never Ends

Learning lessons is a little like reaching maturity. You’re not suddenly more happy, wealthy, or powerful, but you understand the world around you better, and you’re at peace with yourself. Learning life’s lessons is not about making your life perfect, but about seeing life as it was meant to be.

Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

No, we never will get a final grade in the classroom of life. That’s not what truly matters. It’s an ongoing process and more about our experiences on the journey. Life isn’t made to be flawless. It’s made to help us utilize our strengths and discover ways to improve our weaknesses. Life is a subjective experience and it’s our perspective that determines our level of satisfaction.

Sometimes nothing has to change at all to experience great change other than adjusting or altering our point of view.”

Has there been a time in your life where you were hit with clarity? You finally solved a puzzle that troubled you for years? Did you have a moment where you suddenly understood what was necessary to improve, resolve or heal a situation? Was there a time you found satisfaction and contentment simply by changing your viewpoint, and nothing else? I’d love to hear about your triumphant life lessons. Please share some inspiration 😉

Keep it Simple,

Just Teri

  2. I would have to say that, it was when I realized that I have within me a longing for something more than the normal human desires for love, companionship, shelter, and acknowledgment of my fellows. It is my belief that this longing was placed there by my creator and that it can only be sated through reliance and devotion to abiding in Him. I accomplish this by the admission of my flawed nature, reading, writing, self-examination, and a reverent observation of the rhythm of nature.

  3. I got some professional coaching many years back. I tried to change the situation, which did not work. With coaching, I learned to look deep within me, do my very best, pray daily, and trust God. I followed my heart and did my best to do what was right. I also learned to believe that God wanted GOOD for me. I survived an unexpected and very tumultuous time. My pride was hit, I had to be humble. But I had an opportunity given to me that took me in a direction I had not expected. Now I have a new opportunity as my road takes another slight turn and it will allow me to do more in an area I am extremely passionate about. Now I need to make the very most of this opportunity. I plan to do just that. 😊

    1. Lisa, there are so many pearls in your comment❣️

There’s the comfort you found through your coaching that deepened your faith and took your focus inward which helped you in a time a struggle. And then…through acceptance, and humility, a path was offered. Inspiring and amazing!

      Awesome life story to share❣️❤️🤗

I’m so very happy and excited for your new opportunity. The rewards of faith and present moment living.

Thanks so very much for sharing 🥰

    1. So true Jeff! And it’s a choice we must make daily, right? Over and over again because life flows and to resist is stop life from leading us to reach our potential. And you’re right, sometimes the right choice is to accept a painful experience and figure out how to move forward. 🙂❤️
