Fresh coffee in the morning, anything chocolate. Finishing puzzles. Watching birds and wildlife. Aromatherapy. A new book from the bookstore…I could go on and on. This is fun!
You’re welcome! Your post was a good reminder to appreciate the small instead of always chasing for the next big thing or big joy that may come from pursuing something. This COVID time is teaching me to slow down and see how much I have around me.
Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!
I read this quote today on a Facebook post: Talking about our problems is our greatest addiction. Break the habit…talk about your joys. (Zig Ziglar) I am joyful for good books, summer fruit and great places to walk nearby 😊💙💜
Some of my little joys include opening up a new tube of chapstick, climbing into a bed with fresh sheets, and placing stamps on envelopes. 🕊
Great post!
It’s the small things!

Thank you so much for commenting ❣️ I think in today’s world of social media and overexposure, it’s easy to forget how important the small joys are 😊

Yes. You’re right! I’ve actually enjoyed slowing down and will try to keep it with me if things start picking back up. 🙂

So, so good! Those are sweet, simple joys. Love them ❤️
And they’re available throughout the day and many times we don’t acknowledge them.
Fresh sheets are my favorite ❣️❣️

I’m always impressed how Thoreau can say so much, with such clarity in one sentence – and be SO inspiring❣️
Thanks Sally for delivering a quote I’ve never seen. ❤️🤗

This great quote also reminds me of one by Thoreau : ‘That man , (woman) is richest, whose pleasures are the cheapest.’ 🌷🤗
